Join us in tropical paradise for an exciting destination event!

We have a fun & exciting weekend planned for you at the gorgeous Sheraton Buganvilias Resort in sunny Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Join us for this fun-filled weekend, with lots of casual networking over cocktails, training sessions, and fun excursions!

Join us this spring for a fabulous working weekend getaway!

The Sheraton Buganvilias Resort & Convention Center is located in the hotel zone, an easy walk from Puerto Vallarta’s famous Malecon (waterfront walkway) and all kinds of fun & eclectic bars, restaurants, and shops. This mid-size resort features 2 pools, 6 restaurants, 4 bars (including a swim up bar), and a fabulous spa. Enjoy the premium fitness facilities or head outside for tennis, beach volleyball, yoga, water volleyball, water aerobics and more! In the evening, enjoy the entertainment, live music, or release your inner Madonna at Karaoke. Championship golf courses ($) are also available nearby.

All 2019 PAMA Spring Symposium attendees will be booked under the All Inclusive program – this plan includes unlimited alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, 3 meals daily, a variety of activities, evening entertainment, live music, and WiFi in public areas.

A detailed itinerary will follow from the event organizers and will include networking events, group dinners, educational sessions, and plenty of fun activities!

Puerto Vallarta  is located on the West Coast of Mexico, where John Huston’s Night of the Iguana was filmed in 1963. There are lots of interesting shops and bars and English is commonly spoken in all tourist areas. There are historic towns nearby which are interesting to explore, or you can become a local foodie and take one of the many food tours that are offered through town. Snorkel or Zipline tours are also popular but the main attraction in Puerto Vallarta is the amazing sunset that you’ll see every night. February is also a great month for whale watching and sea life is energetic in the area – be sure to pack binoculars so you can see what’s happening right from your hotel room!

Mexican Pesos are the currency used; however, US dollars can also be used for most transactions under $100. Average high temperature in February is 27 Celsius, with lows to just 17 degrees.  Puerto Vallarta is on Central Time. Sunset during the trip will be at approx. 7pm, so have your cameras ready!

INSURANCE strongly recommends the purchase of additional travel insurance to protect your family and finances from an emergency situation and expenses due to medical emergencies. This must be arranged at time of booking. Any travelers who decline insurance must sign a waiver. Travel insurance does not cover relationship breakups, declined holiday time, or simply changing your mind but it may cover you for unforeseen reasons for cancellation such as Jury Duty, loss of employment, or many other reasons.
It is important that everyone read their insurance policy to know the stipulations.

Pregnancy & travel: Should you plan to become pregnant prior to your trip to Mexico or the Caribbean, you should consult with a travel medical clinic to discuss prevention of tropical diseases. For up to date information on the Canadian government's travel warnings and recommendations, please visit
Airlines have certain restrictions on how far into a pregnancy a woman can safely fly. Should you become pregnant and be unable to fly due to operational guidelines by the Tour Operator, any cancellation must be claimed through your travel insurance policy - refunds will not be granted.

No reimbursements, refunds or credits will be issued for unused travel services or any component of the package. Refunds are not granted for bookings cancelled due to inclement weather or illness. These must be claimed through your travel insurance.

All sales are final on a group reservation. Prices are non-negotiable.

By responding "NO" to "Travel Insurance Required", the respondent acknowledges that Weddings by and it's travel agent representative offered to discuss both travel & cancellation insurance with the respondent. Furthermore, the respondent accepts all responsibility for any losses suffered by the respondent plus any others on this booking form and releases Weddings by and it's representative from any claims for losses due to a lack of, or insufficient insurance coverage. Please consider carefully. Out of Country Emergency Medical Expenses or Medical Evacuation/Travel Expenses can be very expensive and potentially financially devastating for you or your family.

Canadians traveling to Mexico are required to hold a passport that is valid for the duration of your trip. We recommend that your passport be valid for at least another month, just in case. Passports should be in good condition, with no rips, tears, or waterstains on any pages or you will NOT be allowed to board the plane. Should this happen, it is the traveler’s sole responsibility to attain a new passport, rebook flights, and resume their existing vacation. Travel insurance is strongly recommended.

The majority of communication regarding your reservation will be via email (critical travel documents, advisories, and payment reminders, etc). It is STRONGLY advised for clients to use any email platform other than hotmail accounts as these have historically been found to block emails at the server level, so clients may never receive (in Inbox or Spam folder) important communications. If possible, it is advised to use a free Gmail account or other, to increase the effectiveness of your email delivery. Non-delivery of critical email communications due to continued use of Hotmail accounts will be the sole responsibility of the traveler. Note that Privacy Act regulations do not allow us to share your email addresses with 3rd parties and we do not share your info with anyone other than the designated Tour Operator(s).

If you are aware of any reason why you may be denied entry to another country, it is your responsibility to discuss this with your travel agent.
